Ethical, registered breeder of Cavoodle/ Theodore &
Long-Haired Mini Dachshunds Puppies
Brisbane, QLD

I am a Registered Nurse, a Master Dog Breeder Association registered breeder, Rightpaw Outstanding Breeder, with over 25 years of dog breeding experience.
Our puppies are raised in a loving family environment, where they are well-socialised with young children, other animals, and the everyday sounds of a busy household. We l follow an early neurological stimulation program, which plays a vital role in building strong, resilient, and well-adjusted puppies.
Our puppies also play a special role in a disability inclusion program, where they spend time with both adults and children—helping to nurture calm, gentle, and adaptable temperaments. Many of our puppies have gone on to make wonderful therapy dogs, thanks to their wonderful natures.
All of our parents are DNA tested and, importantly, have beautiful, loving temperaments that they pass on to their puppies.
Please check our litters section with a link to Rightpaw for details of current or upcoming litters.
If prospective parents are local to Brisbane, we welcome families to visit to meet parents and pups and to see the environment in which they are raised. Facetime is also welcomed
We can arrange transport anywhere in Australia.
We have agreed to RightPaw vet-approved Code of Ethics.
In addition, we have passed an exclusive audit and been recognised as meeting outstanding standards.

To be eligible for RightPaw’s Outstanding Breeder program, breeders must meet and provide evidence for - the following inclusion criteria:

Our dogs undergo comprehensive health testing to ensure they are free from breed-specific hereditary conditions. This includes annual veterinary health checks & DNA testing.

MDBA's mission is to focus on what is best for dogs. They do this by ensuring the integrity of our purebred stud registry and monitoring members’ compliance with Rules, Codes, & Policies. Getting the right people involved will lead to producing only the best dogs with their health & welfare at the core of any decision

At the heart of our breeding program is a commitment to raising confident, resilient, and well-adjusted puppies. The early weeks of a puppy’s life are critical in shaping their future temperament, health, and ability to adapt to the world around them. That’s why we implement structured early development practices, including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), alongside practical life skills training.
ENS is a gentle, science-based program conducted during the first few weeks of life. Through a series of carefully applied exercises, we help stimulate the puppies’ neurological systems during this critical developmental window.
Research has shown that ENS can:
These small, daily exercises help lay the foundation for puppies that are better equipped to handle new environments and challenges.
From an early age, puppies are introduced to a variety of scents through our ESI program. This helps develop their scent recognition abilities and builds confidence when encountering new experiences.
Benefits of ESI include:
By gently exposing puppies to new scents, we encourage them to engage with the world in a calm and inquisitive way.
In addition to ENS and ESI, we begin introducing important life skills to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes:
Crate Training
Puppies are gently introduced to crate training, helping them view it as a safe and comfortable space. This supports better sleep routines and eases the transition for new owners.
Toilet Training Foundations
We commence early toilet training by establishing consistent routines, helping puppies develop good habits from the start.
Car Travel
Short, positive car experiences are introduced to reduce anxiety and build confidence when travelling.
Sound Exposure
Puppies are gradually exposed to a variety of everyday sounds—such as household noises, traffic, and voices—to help desensitise them and prevent fear responses later in life.
Our puppies are also raised as part of a disability inclusion program, where they are exposed to a diverse range of people and interactions. This experience helps foster calm, gentle temperaments and encourages adaptability, empathy, and confidence.

Occasionally we have a Cavoodle, Mini Dachshund or Poodle available for a guardian family.
Becoming a guardian family is an incredibly rewarding experience that allows you to give a loving, forever home to a dog while supporting ethical breeding practices.
By joining a reputable breeder’s guardian program, you get to enjoy the companionship of a Cavoodle or a Mini Dachshund as part of your family.
This partnership ensures that the dog has a healthy, happy life, both in your home and during its time in the breeding program. Plus, after completing its breeding career, the dog is retired to you, providing a lifetime of love and memories. If you're looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in a dog's life and the lives of future puppies, becoming a guardian family could be the perfect fit for you!
